Bobby’s Base & The Bobby Colleran Trust
In 2023, we proudly supported the launch of “Bobby’s Base” in Liverpool, a facility providing free mental health and bereavement support to children and young adults in the region. This initiative is part of The Bobby Colleran Trust’s ongoing “Slow Down for Bobby Campaign.” The creation of Bobby’s Base is a tribute to Joanne Colleran, who founded the charity after her son Bobby’s tragic death in a road accident in 2014. We’ve been honoured to support the trust since 2015 and remain committed to helping create safer, happier, and healthier communities.
Speedo Mick
Speedo Mick has been fundraising for a variety of charities for many years, with a strong focus on mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer support. His challenges, which often involve enduring extreme weather conditions and physical hardship, have raised significant funds and brought much-needed attention to these vital causes. Through his relentless dedication and positive attitude, Mick has inspired countless individuals to get involved and contribute to making a difference. We’ve proudly supported his efforts over the years, recognising the incredible impact he continues to have on communities and the causes he champions.
Krol Corlett Football Tournament
We were delighted to take part in the Krol Corlett 5-A-Side Football tournament at Goals in Netherton, supporting the NSPCC. Not only did we enter a team, but we also went on to win the tournament! It was a fantastic day, filled with great teamwork and sportsmanship, and we’re proud as a business to have supported such a worthwhile cause. The event brought together the community for a fun and meaningful purpose, and we are grateful to have been part of it.
High Sheriff of Merseyside Award
We’re proud to have received recognition from The High Sheriff of Merseyside, Lesley Martin-Wright, for our dedication to supporting local communities. This award highlights our commitment to exceptional service in the Liverpool City Region, as well as our partnerships with The Bobby Colleran Trust and support for community projects. We’re focused on promoting mental and physical health, tackling food poverty, and reducing waste. Through our actions, we show that #HAMeansMore than just roadworks – we’re committed to making a real difference.
The Greenhouse Project
We were proud to be part of The Greenhouse Project in Toxteth, Liverpool, a great example of community collaboration. Our team provided surfacing works, continuing our commitment to supporting local communities and creating social value. We’d like to thank Simon Krol for inviting us to participate, as well as The Alcantara Family Foundation Trust and the LFC Foundation for their ongoing support. It was a pleasure working alongside Krol Corlett on the bike track and L&R Roadlines on the lining. This project is just one of many ways we continue to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.
