Metrics

Detail

USP:

Mixed at up to 40 degrees lower temperature than traditional materials, less energy is consumed during the production of HALO, therefore reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Metrics:

Up to 20% Carbon reduction

Up to 35% Recycled Content

500,000t laid

100% Recyclable

Detail:

Delivering significant environmental benefits by incorporating Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) and heating the product at a lower temperature. Our proprietary base and binder products reduce waste and minimise carbon emissions without compromising on quality or performance.

USP:

Rubber modified asphalt uses up to 500 waste tyres per 1km of road.

Metrics:

8% reduction in CO2 emissions

Approximately 500 tyres per kilometre of road

BBA (British Board of Agrément) approved as a CLAUSE 942 product.

Meets requirements for LEVEL 3 ‘VERY QUIET SURFACING MATERIAL’ (-3.5 DB(A) - according to the Manual of Contract documents for Highway Works

Detail:

Our innovative surface course product combines HALO warm-mix technology with end-of-life tyres for additional carbon emission savings and environmental benefits.

USP:

FASTPAVE is a single-layer application process for urban, rural, and residential road maintenance, negating the need for the conventional binder and surface course approach.

Metrics:

Up to 44% Carbon Reduction

Improves compaction

Reduces the in-situ voids in the finished layer

Long term durability.

Detail:

A cost-effective solution with reduced construction time, material consumption, and carbon emissions.

By combining FASTPAVE with our HALOBIO product, we have successfully achieved an industry-first emissions reduction of 44%. Minimising emissions but maximising efficiency.

USP:

A less disruptive SuDS solution, HAFLOW is a fast-draining porous asphalt for driveways, car parks, footpaths and public spaces.

Metrics:

Eliminates standing water and ice patches

Less groundwork and excavation

Reduces surface water runoff

Meets the requirements of planning regulations, the Code for Sustainable Homes, and Schedule 3 of the Floods and Water Management Act 2010.

BBA Accredited

Detail:

Addresses the evolving environmental challenges of flooding and existing pressure on drainage infrastructure whilst meeting local planning requirements. Less groundwork and excavation required than alternative drainage and rainwater management systems, saving time on site and reducing disruption for clients.

USP:

HALOBIO replaces some of the fossil fuel-derived binder with a biogenic alternative, locking carbon into asphalt and bitumen to reduce emissions over the road’s lifetime.

Metrics:

Up to 30% Carbon Reduction

13kg carbon dioxide equivalent reduction per tonne of asphalt

Carbon sink

100% Recyclable

Detail:

This effectively turns the new road surface into a carbon sink. It can capture and store around 6 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per kilometre of road. And, since asphalt can be recycled at the end of the pavement life, most of this carbon will not re-enter the atmosphere but will instead be incorporated into another road, supporting a circular economy.
